| | QuiltingQuilt Hangers| Quilt Hangers Article | A quilt hanger is a very simple project. At its most basic, the hanger is essentially two pieces of thin wood that are screwed together, clamping the top of the quilt in between them. The only tricky parts are coming up with a design that successfully hides both the screws that clamp the two pieces of wood together as well as the screws used to attach the hanger to the wall. Quit Hangers are the easiest way to hang any size quilt or rug. Each hanger is about 4" long X 1 1/2" high and they can be spaced up to 30" apart. The hangers squeeze the fabric between two pieces of wood. Just loosen two screws on the back, slip in the fabric and tighten the screws. Each hanger has a keyhole slot that hangs on a screw in the wall.
